Webster Student Council Committees

Main concept Committees would exist, because of the better organisation, responsibility and effectiveness of the Webster Student Council. With existents of comities and subcommittees we would clearly know who is responsible for what and we would also easily evaluate their work. Every committee would have their chairman's. Committee chairmen would be elected each term, except Activities and Financial Committee chairman's. Chairman would be elected by SC members. Each Committee would be evaluated by the SC members. At the end of the term we will do a recap, if Committee didn't do a good job we would need to change the Committee chairman and the Committee board.

Activities Committee (AcCom)

This committee plans, organizes and coordinates a number of social events both on and off campus for students at Webster University. The range of events is diverse enough to cater to all segments of the population. The chairman of the committe is Amgad Fahmy.

Finance Committee (FiCom)

The responsibility of the Finance Committee (FiCom) is to foster and coordinate student activities by way of supporting student organizations that promote student interaction. Obligations: helping with a budget, revision, finding ways of extra funding and provide ideas for the Student Council profits. The chairman of FiCom is Jubilee Mandl.

Marketing Committee (MarCom)

This committee is responsible for promoting any student council sponsored event by putting up ''signs''. They main goal is to provide flayers, poster etc. for the Student Council events. Every student at Webster University needs to know what SC is and what services we provide. They are also responsible for attracting new students to join and participate to the Student Council.

Comunication Committee (CCom)

The main idea of communication committee is to be a media voice of Webster Student Council. They should be `private` journalists of SC. That means that they would write articles about SC at Vienna Review and they should work closely with our Webmasters (that means that they would also write articles for our web site)

Web Committee (WebCom)

We want the student body to be able to communicate with us about their concerns as well as provide them a place of contact i.e. web page with links to class web pages, class schedules, etc. webmasters of SC web page, are Adam Jankovski, Massoud Assali and Omer.

New Students Orientation Committee (NSOCom)

Mainly the Student Orientation day is responsibility of the President and Vice-President. But we always need as much people as it is possible to welcome new students. We need to show them that SC is their main support at Webster University. Of course in NSOCom should be people that spend most of their time in Vienna, because Orientation Day is almost always during the brake time (last week of the brake time). If President and Vice-President are unavailable the NSOCom members will present Student Council to the new students.
